Known to her fans as “QB”, has started her career in 2011 with the cover track “Akhiyan Nu Ren De”. which made her an overnight music sensation in Pakistan, that leads her to chosen for the tittle song ‘Humsafar’ (television serial). She received global recognition for this track and also won Pakistan’s Youngest Achievement Award UK & Europe 2011, as well as Song Of The Year and Best Original Soundtrack at the Lux Style Awards 2012.

Produced by Salman Albert, this beautiful rock ballad with lyrics originally written by famed Punjabi Sufi poet Bullen Shah, this will certainly be one of the finest Sufi compositions in recent times.
The video for the single Saaiyaan, shot in Lahore showcases the city’s breathtaking heritage architecture. After the huge success of her track ‘Saaiyan’ she said “It’s a pleasure to be associated with EMI Records India. Music is universal and that’s what labels are doing now in this digital era. Her latest song in Coke Studio 9 release “Baliye (Laung Gawacha), her Bollywood debut song made it to the internet. Its her third Coke Studio venture after ‘Panchi’ and ‘Sammi Meri Waar’. This song is as spectacular as the previous two. ‘QB’ make the song more special with her sensational voice.
Talking to The Express Tribune, QB said ever since her first experience on the show, its format has changed drastically. “With Rohail [Hyatt], you had the freedom to be creative. There was a support system, as far as content is concerned. Now, even with creative giants on board, everything is pre-planned. Music is already penned down for the ‘vocalists’ and it has become more commercial than ever, since it’s one of the most viewed programs all over the world.”
Quratulain Balouch has been stealing hearts with her stunning vocals for a long time now. Instead of being under the guidance of a vocal coach, she was heavily inspired by Sufi musicians Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, and especially Reshma.
